It's our new airforce.
If any hijacked planes come flying in the plan is to pull out the .22's.

I saw one of those dudes on Sunday - up there in his cage.
I wondered why he watched me across the bridge through his gunsight...

I just don't get what they're meant to do when Joe blogs parks his car up and jumps. They can't stop him, he doesn't care. Seems a bit odd. Like we don't want the world to know people wanna jump off our lovely bridge?

I think it has more to do with (possible) occupation of the bridge for protest purposes ....
They are the "early warning system" ... (protesters wont listen to the cameras).

Yeah I was thinking that too when I first saw them, but then in the paper today someone wrote in and asked what the deal was, and the reply was that it they were there to deter jumpers.

No doubt they're expecting a mass jump if the French win the Cup

Would you believe?? A few years ago, the Golden Gate bridge was approaching its 1000th suicide attempt.
Idiots were counting down, lining up, to be the 1000th jumper.

I daresay that would improve the world's average IQ by quite some degree...
