Simo's "instant" penalty? Blardy hell, he'd screwed up heaps of time (ruined Perosa's season, punted off Lorenzo) before he got the ride through and many would argue it was well overdue.

As many would argue it was well over the top and uncalled for.

Whatever the validity of that - you and I know that he will almost certainly be the next God of MotoGP. :shifty: :shifty:

He may get away with his bull shit tactics in the little kids class but once he gets to the main game hes going up against some guys that will show him a trick or 2.
I guess he will be on a honda which will help a lot

Woah what trick or two would that be? How to call it quits and give up and go home with a broken fingernail.Take an absence of leave with a tummy rumble when the going gets tough or cry bitterly when a hard move is put on you.
Seems to me Marquez is the shot in the arm these self congratulators need and when Honda takes the shackles off Simo there will finally be two real gunfighters in town.

And I have heard said that WSBK lacks quality. That line up looks even better than MotoGP sometimes.
Be good to see a few full time Americans in there though, an Kiwis for that matter.
Go on someone, go find the money!!!!
So some of the riders are a bit older, so what?
Our obsession with youth, as in MotoGP, just serves to alienate people. If you are good enough, you are good enough.

Hate to tell you this...but the old cunts are in Superbikes simply because they're not GOOD enough to be in Moto GP.

I think Eugene Laverty appears to be in the Pata Aprilia team? Looks like that was what he was riding in recent testing?

I see that there is a possibility that my wish to see Bautista on competitive machinery may come true.
It is reported that HCR head Nakamoto san wants Bautista on a factory spec LCR bike. Should that happen we may not miss Marco's fireworks as much as we otherwise may have. Bautista is eminently capable of keeping things interesting.

Gp seems to be the cream of the crop for sure & the way they structure and hang onto key riders from the "juniors" right thru the ranks is impressive.

Starting to all fall into place now or not?
Bautista to stay with Suzuki, duPuniet to replace Elias at LCR, Gresini to have Iannone on a privateer Honda (effectively replacing Aoyama) as a rookie can he race a "factory" bike? Barbera to Pramac, so, still one ride available at Pramac? One at Aspar on a CRT bike? Sics factory Honda?
Are the CRT teams testing with the 1000's on Tuesday at Valencia?

Regarding WSBK it was mentioned that Chaz Davies would be team mate to Max Biaggi on a Aprilia now.
