Hi all, the second event planned for this season is just a couple of weeks away and as usual places are filling fast, interestingly we are getting group booking enquiries now too. So if your club, organisation or group of you want to get together and make a group booking talk to Colleen about a group discount.

For this event we have New Zealand 9 times National Champion Andrew Stroud as our guest star instructor as well as our usual line up of experienced instructors. He will be there for everyone to take advantage of both on and off track. We may even convince him to do a brief presentation.

If you want to improve you motorcycle skills and gain a better understanding of how you inputs effect your machines control come along and experience an ART day. We have several photographers there to record your achievements on film and we can even record you laps in full HD and available on disc.

Check into our web site http://www.amcc.org.nz/home and click on the entry form and you will receive full details for the day.

See you track side.

Another fantastic day!!

Fine, warm weather and eager riders welcomed us at Pukekohe at the weekend.
Again some familiar faces together with new ones.
The day brought several highlights for all involved.
Andrew Stroud proved very popular with all groups with theoretical, practical and technical requests, all delt with in his usual laid back and ever pleasant manner.

He/we have discovered a very new talent that is about to break onto the racing scene and looking at his lap times will be a real contender not only in club racing but at a national level too, should he choose to ‘go there’, very impressive.

The Hyosung guys had a good outing in a sub group within a group under the guidance of a more seasoned campaigner in the cup, honing there skills in readiness for the next round (13th November).

The training groups made steady progress with contenders for most improved rider becoming a tuff call, in the end it went to a young rider that has progressed through our groups and now sits in group 3. He too should consider club racing if he wants to take it to the next level.

Group 1 should have had a prize for having the biggest smiles, the enthusiasm to learn is so evident and it was this group that produced the best instructor (again) and this instructor didn’t spend time on the circuit!

It was good to see some long time group 3 riders progress into group 4, often group 3 seems to have a ‘glass ceiling’ with the perception that group 4 is a step too far. Listening to the instructor’s advice and encouragement into making that step up although can be daunting will pay dividends and accelerate your learning.

An immaculate 90’s RF900 got the converted best presented bike award, 40,000+ miles and still looked like new.

Several photographers were at the circuit so check their web sites both on our web site and Kiwi Biker. The standard of these pictures are very impressive and a nice reminder of the day.

Our next event is 13th December http://www.amcc.org.nz/uploads/richassets/Entry%20Form%20December%202011.pdf and it is already filling fast so book sooner rather than later.

See you all again track side
