Wanaka's got a paper???? Mike
.... and electricity, we are getting some fandangled things called telephones too were you can talk to other people through a box ... it will never take off!
Funnier thing is the way it all unfolded as it came about from a skiing discussion heading to Treble Cone ski field from a hitchhiker ride who is the lady who wrote the article, her brother lives in Dawson City home of Dust To Dawson Fukengruven gathering.
So during this discussion Ellen had with the hitchhiker she said her bro lived lived in Canada, Ellen says cool and we are going that way next year, hitchy said he lives in Dawson, Ellens says well shit we are headed there for a motorcycle event and hey presto 1+1+1 = 4 <_<
Thus the interest must have stayed in the hitchys mind and she tracked us down and wrote the article.
So there you have it, you can all sleep at night now  and BTW thanks to all for the thumbs up, you guys are duly noted on our sponsors and supporters page.

Your guna have a great time next year up there. Its guna be a bit chilly still in May though. We went up late June and that was perfect. Still some snow on the ground in the high country. Spoke to some people who had been cruising around in a camper. They were going the same places we had gone but 4 weeks earlier and all the rivers and lakes were still frozen. When we went to Prudhoe Bay, they said the day we got there was there first real summer day. I think it go to 6degC.
I'll bet you cant wait !!
