Hi all,

Has anyone fitted a WR250f 07 with a YZF muffler of the same year, the WR header is standard and a little smaller than the muffler inlet, I know i can fit a YZF header to the motor no problem but i only wanted to buy a "slip on" (which obviously doesn't)

i was wondering if there was a quick fix with a spacer/gasket as i cant really be assed re-engineering it as i have plenty of other stuff that requires my re-engineering skills.

I would like to run the muffler i was supplied but failing that ill just return it as i quite clearly asked for a WR slip on.

thanks guys, hope everyone had a good weekend.

Oh and yes iv'e been all over Thumpertalk, there is a couple of vague comments of using a certain year of WR or YZF gasket but it isnt really clear which one, it isn't the 07 WR gasket.

Most exhaust shops have a pipe expander for exhaust tube
You may well be able to expand the last 50mm of the header pipe by the amount required to be a snug fit on the muffler inlet.
Take both bits to the exhaust guy.

Is that want you want to do ?
