I am heading over in 5 weeks and not being familiar with London wondered what good bike shops are accessible by tube/train/walk (will not have transport). I would be thinking possibly leathers for a fat bastard, rearsets, shorty levers. So more equipment type shops or is most just done online?? Cheers

+1 there's a good one in Stockwell. Better to go online for parts.

Cool Thanks. Yes looking at the website it appears it will suck the wallet empty very quickly.

Last time I was back home I found a decent shop for clothing within a stones throw of the Islington Tube, can't remember the name though so fairly useless. I'd suggest grabbing a couple of English bike mags and having a look at the ads before you go. Will give you an idea of where the larger shops are in Londoninium.
Not sure of your dates, but the NEC show is on 19th to 27th of next month - Motorcycle Live. (http://www.motorcyclelive.co.uk/) Might be worth a blat up the motorway.
