Even with the safest motorbike, there is a dimwit rider who can crash it.

Thats a hoax video that one http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/news/crash-proof-motorcycle-behind-the-scenes/
Not sure I'd like a display on the visor either, it would be a mission focusing on something close to your face and then back to the road all the time.
It's probably more dangerous than riding a standard crashable bike.

yea, I figured that out about the second time I watched it. There is no rider lying on the road, just the bike
Still its funny as hell, and is supposed to get you thinking about safety, so WTH

Despite it been fake,
I just dont see it as a good idea having a system like that in place,
it makes the rider less reliant on their own senses and more on technology, that could fail leaving the rider at a loss on personal experience.

Volvos are the safest car in the world. Which is why the people who drive them do so like wankers. Coz they can.

I am looking forward to the day when the rider becomes redundant and can stay home eating pies while his bike goes for a ride by itself. *sigh*

All he needed was a hi-viz, would have been sweet.

No need to install ... I've found ... if you read enough of the literature, the founder promotes ... you will find a monotone voice in your ear ... already installed ...
Buggered if I know how it works ...
