Hey Guys,
Just got my first bike, a 96 Hornet 250. Its SUPER fun. Im still a little sloppy with my standing starts but getting better :shifty:
But it seems my temp gauge isn't working (it seems to bounce around when i turn my handle bars) is this normal.

Hi Simon and Welcome to KB,
I think that your trans-conductor fluid could have leaked out and will need replacing. If you bring it around to the workshop i can change it in a couple days for a KB discount, possibly $300 all up?
:innocent:

All good, Its still under the 3 month warranty from the dealer :)
My next question is, can i adjust the hight of the foot break. its a little high and i find myself hanging my foot wide

not massivley familiar with your model specifically, get on your knees (youve bought a honda, youll get used to this position soon enough) and have a look under, or just behind the brake lever, there should be a way to adjust it fairly easily, usually a couple of 12mm or so nuts used to lock a threaded section into place.
youll figure it out.
