I think I'm going to legally change my last name to 'Kahui'; seems you can break any law in the country and get off scot free with a name like that.

Sitting outside the Bridgehouse yesterday lunchtime, a Holden pulled into a car park in front of us. The driver had three children in the car, he also got out of the car drinking a can of Double Brown. What sort of idiot would drink Double brown?

I can understand the non-prison sentence, but how about 9 years non driving, and at least the 6 months with no alcohol permitted.
This bit is kind of funny though
Last year, Kahui hit the headlines in another drink-fuelled incident that resulted in her being fined $500 for failing to take proper care of her 4-year-old son.
She had been drinking and smoking cannabis with her partner when they started arguing, forcing their son to seek refuge at a neighbour's house.
When the couple realised the pre-schooler was missing they sparked a five-hour police search, which ended when the neighbour saw coverage of the search on television.
Isn't the first thing you do, ask the neighbours if they have seen the little tacker?

six months stuck at home with six kids I think I would need a drink
I also reckon these people should go on 12 months at the zero alcohol limit after getting their licence back.

Nah - you should change your first name to "Delilah" - that's what got her off, I'm sure.

Funny, I was just thinking how over represented that name seems to be in the court news. If I was a rugby winger with that name I think I would change it.
