I have over 2500 photos from yesterday. I've just uploaded a few samples. If you would like to see all photos of any rider then please email me with details and I will upload them to a flickr "set" and provide a link so you can view them.

Kind words from another pro photographer! Thanks, Ray. I'm very happy with 2500+ photos from the day. Perfect conditions, mostly overcast, helped. My hit-rate of perfect shots was as good as I've ever achieved.

Hi Damien,

Both myself and my partner were in Group 1 and would be great to see some more pics so we can check on our body positioning as your pics have great angles!

Really enjoyed the pics you put up from last season which was Group 1 session 1, session 2 etc as we could see our progression throughout the day!

Yay you got one of me already up :) I'm the girl on the green Ninja :) Other half is on the Orange one :)

Cheers

Becca

Crap that's a lot of photos. Could you perhaps sell a CD set of lower res ones (or a big zip file download), and then charge people separately for the higher res ones?

I've never offered this before. But, OK, I'll try it this time. I'll do a CD of all images for $48 including GST. Jpeg size 1024 pixels on the long side, no watermark. Price includes postage and packing for NZ delivery. Please refer to choosedphotos.webs.com for usage and payment details.

Hi Becca

Glad you liked the previous photos. You were looking great out there. I have heaps of photos of you and the other half :). Here is an example of a large version of one of the photos (warning, large file):
http://www.flickr.com/photos/dty1/6298110791/sizes/o/in/set-72157627884382377/

Best viewed on HD or better monitor (I recommend Dell U2711 2560x1440 for value at present).

Hey,

Thanks for taking all the photos, glad to see one of me up! (last one)

Are you going to do the same as last year, show them by group and session? As that was great at looking at improvements etc. Totally understand if that is too much like hard work however!!

Keep up the good work, appreciate it! Becca and I might grab a few different ones of us too, as have non of us on track yet!

$20 for 1 large jpeg plus just $5 (currently) extra for the very large (up-res'd) poster version (incl. GST). GST invoice supplied if required.

General pricing details and usage attached. Also, my web site link in my signature below has pricing details and my email address.

I will upsize from the RAW image to suit the required poster size - this provides scalability to billboard size :). frogprints.co.nz transact online and deliver the poster (I have no connection to them but have used their services - recommended).

Recent comment on a very large poster:

Most of the photos uploaded have not been tweaked in any way and I can greatly improve them through cropping, exposure curve adjustment, sharpening, noise reduction etc. Some of the others uploaded may be even better when tweaked. You can decide on a poster version of any photo at any time in the future (while I'm still a pro. photographer). Note that different charges apply for posters that will be used commercially - in bike shops, for fan signatures etc.

I had a very large poster made from this one (large image):

Sounds good Damien

I will put the money through to your account now, with the name Matt Wishart.
I would like a RAW image to the dimensions stated above as well please.

Hi Matt

The very large image for the A1 poster will be a jpeg file close to 20 megabytes in size that you can then download from flickr (private set).

I am open to selling the RAW file though most photographers won't. My general pricing does not mention RAW files.

You can have the RAW file (my "digital negative") for an additional $26. That will allow you at any time in the future to produce any size or type of output file for personal use only. It is a 14-bit RAW file, perfect for manipulation. Jpeg is only 8-bit.

I will still own the copyright.

Sorry I had a brain fart, instead of RAW i meant the poster size photo so what you originally quoted me.

My mistake.

No problem. You'll get both jpeg sizes.

A note on RAW files if anyone is interested:

You would need to have access to computer software (like Photoshop or Lightroom), and also some experience, to process a Canon RAW image.
Printers would charge extra for RAW image processing on top of the printing charge (that's if you could not do it yourself and provide a jpeg, TIFF or PSD file).
