Looking at buying a bike and a parts bike in the manuatu. I live in auckland, and while I can probably get down to the bike and ride it back, not sure how to get the parts bike back. Best quote I've had from bike trans and motorcycle movers is 260$ for the parts bike and a box of bits from door to door.

Any ideas? I've tried PM'ing Frosy to borrow his van with the view to me and a mate driving down, me driving bike back, him driving van with parts bike in it, but no reply yet - will call tomorrow.

Anyone making their way up with a trailer or something, able to bring a parts bike up with them? or have any other bright ideas? wife and I have bought our first house, so trying to upgrade/ move to a cheaper bike that suits me better.

Cheers!

I just got a bike freighted from a dealer in lower hutt, cost $185 as a back load in a furniture truck (apparently does quite a few bikes for the dealer) PM me for his mobile number if you want to give it a try
