Gear hire in or near Kapiti?

My ol' man is coming over from UK for a visit in January. I checked in with my insurers, and thay have added him to my policy at no extra cost for the duration of the stay, so he can have a ride about on my HOG, while he's here. Only thing is to get Helmet and gloves etc for him. I don't want to buy stuff for him just for a 3 week stay, so is there anywhere I can beg, borrow, steal or hire some gear from?
I'm in Kapiti.

What size gear does he need?? I have spare gear depending on size of course

Funny, I went over to the UK 2 years ago and my son checked with his insurers there. The extra costs were more than the bike was worth.

So I didn't get to ride over there. :(

Hi again, dad got back to me with his measurement:
Head measurement is 57cm or 22 and a half inches.
