Hi guys,
Picked up my CBX a few months ago and its going great.
Just got back from the first real trip on it and its due for rear rubber.
Looked around a bit but there's some options and i'm not too sure, any help would be great.
Bike is running battlax bt45's at the moment and they feel nice. Definitely wouldn't mind another.
The RC17 forum recommends Metz lasertec me33/55's for longevity (est 15-20k for a rear!) which would be cool. It's a bit cheaper rear than the battlax on cycletreads, plenty more expensive for the front though.
I've read some people here on KB comparing these tyres with Mich pilot activ's ST.
The front still has half left so I should probably just do another bt45 and leave them matched.
But I like the sound of this metz...:shifty: would it be a bad idea to change to that and run the bt45 on the front? Or to change to this Michelin if it's worthwhile.
I'll be getting a new chain and sprockets fitted while the rear is off getting the tyre on, can anyone recommend someone in christchurch who I should be dealing with?
