the other day i got a $55 tyre put on my car all for free??(as far as the fitting and disposal side goes)

Every single tire I've had fitted has had some arbitrary charge attached. One place was about $90 to have both tires fitted and on the bike. Another place I went to on friday just gone was $30 to have the rear tire fitted and on the bike.

I would guess volume of sales is the difference between free fitting at a car place and paying at a bike shop..

Questioning charges made by motorcycle workshops? Asking for trouble around here.

I always asked for the fitted price including disposal when pricing tyres, car or motorcycle.

Some places don't include it in the price to look cheaper, some include it in the tyre price.

As long as you know the total price, it doesn't really matter how they add the numbers up.
