Speedo cable (Suzuki SJ50QT)

Good evening all, So when riding home today looked down to see how fast i was going and it was going flat out zero :) (Rather suprised me) have pulled off the front of my scooter and had a look and jst want to know could it be anything else? am looking at just buying a cable from sccotling and instaling it myself, anything i have to be aware of?

Any info would be great

I think you're probably right in thinking its the cable. Few other things suggested to check here
