My lower fork tree on me XR200 is a bit bent. How do I straighten it?

Go and give it to someone who has a press.

Didnt need to, moved the legs down to only be in the lower clamp. Then put a 6x2 plank between them, held the bike and twisted. Came back fine. :wings:

Get two really long lengths of pipe the same width as your fork stanchions. Say about 2 metres long. Put the triple clamp in a vice and put the pipe into each part of the triple, and do it up.
Then while someone you trust holds the pipes gently apply heat with an oxy-acetylene torch across the entire triple - just enough to warm it up a bit. The length of the pipes will dictate how much leverage you have and how much you can tell how far they are out. Once you have the triple a bit warm, apply pressure on the ends of the pipes to get them as straight as possible.
It won't be perfect, but it will be better than you have at present.

Mate that's even more dodgy than my method! Are you sure you didn't grow up in the Hutt Valley?

That would be the same internet that insists that you can drink battery acid if you mix it with orange juice...
mmmmkay...
I hope your forks are straight now.
