Came up too a intersection today and there it was.......some poor buggers wallet in the middle of it, half a dozen cars ran it over before I was able too retrieve it..
Looked inside everything there so off too the local police station too hand it in,while I was waiting to see an officer of the law:Police:, a very sweaty Maori bloke walked in looking like he lost his world,so I made a comment that he must of been in a rush too get here...he then told me that he had lost his wallet,I said too him you must be John and this must be your's handing him his wallet...
The guy was so greatful he just kept shaking my hand and saying thankyou
Good too see there are still people out there with manners

I was on the other end of this not long ago. My wallet fell out of the tail bag at the gas station when I pulled out a cloth to clean the visor. Some lovely lady handed it in to the coppers who duly called me up and returned it to me.
I was pretty pleased too.

Nice. Some good bastard once handed my wallet in to the police as well. Police rang me to come and collect, which was nice. When I got there, they arrested me on an outstanding warrant, which wasn't nice. Funny as fuck though, you've never seen a big smile be turned upside down so quick. :)

And that kids is the story of how Uncle Rangi got given his first wallet. By simply agreeing his name was John.
