Thought I should offer my bike up on here before Trade me as its not getting enough use of late and am currently looking for a station wagon or SUV so I could be looking at swaps aswell. For 2600 I will throw in the gear. So thats a Helmet, Boots (with some scrapes size 11) a codura Jacket and pants (that have a 360 zip) and gloves which makes this a perfect starter package iam 6'1" and 105 kgs but room in the gear for a bit bigger or smaller...
It’s a 1990 GSXR250 which is an inline 4 cylinder engine these engines put out a lot more power than the newer ones which they put restrictions on in about 91 in Japan. It sits on 120 comfortably in 6th I would recommend 5th or fourth gear for 100kmph and you can definatly loose your lisence if you want. The engine redlines @ 17,000rpm and is designed to be run at the high revs.
Has new Warrent and 3 months rego Just put on (end of octoberish) I have had the bike for just over 1 year and have had the following done...
New clutch plates
New Front tire
New Spark plugs
New Hand grips
New fork Seals & fork oil
New Choke Cable
New Battery
New Horn
New Front Brake Switch
Replaced Brake fluid
Replaced coils
Replaced intake manifolds
Replaced Petrol Tank (old one has dent in, I still have this)
Replaced Stator
Carbs balanced & valve clearances done
The bike has almost done 70,000k’s and is running fine she does about 5ltrs per 100ks so very economical.
Have a couple of spare parts to go with it... Tank + CDI and some inlet rubbers
