Just been up to Nelson for the weekend and was amazed with the amount of Moto Guzzis on the road. Coming from Ashburton where I'm sure I am the only Guzzi rider in town it was great to see. Saw the first one on the way over in Reefton, exactly the same model as mine. Then over the next three days everywhere I went I either saw one going past, one parked outside a shop, parked in a driveway, all over the place. I am considering a move to Tasman after having had a taste of the roads while at the Moto Guzzi rally, but now I'm not sure. I quite like being the "only Guzzi in the village".

apparently nelson has more bikes per capita than anywhere else in nz, so therefore a higher portion of the population have strange facinations for all things shaft drive and lefty turnie
