So I just got my learners licence. None of my family are into bikes, I just love them so I got myself into them.
I saved up 3.5k and I got my licence on monday. I get home and think to myself, "alright, time to buy a bike"

The first place I go is trademe because, well, lets face it, that's where you find shit you want to buy in NZ
There were some awesome deals and some not so awesome deals.
I then checked sella, and turners, didn't find anything I was particularly keen on.
Now i'm stuck.

Where are some alternative places to shop for second hand bikes?

edit: Also, I'm after a cruiser

Go to Red Barons and sit on all there second hand 250s. Work out what you want then shop from there.

+1. Go see Nick or Jon at Red Baron and tell them Jimmy from Wellington sent ya. Both thoroughly good buggers who enjoy getting new people on to bikes.

Another +1 for Nick @ Red Barron. When i was shopping about for a used bike this guy was great to deal with, honest and bullsh*t free (well for a salesman). No pressure selling tactics, actually found me a really good bike that i was looking for and worked out a fantastic deal for me.
Everybody is different and each to their own but well worth swinging by and having a chat to them.
