Bought Ninja 250.. Couple of queries

HI guys

After much deliberation, i finally bought a ninja 250 (2009).. It is a nice machine and I am already loving it... I have a couple of new-biker queries if someone can sort..

1. I have owned 2 strokes before, in which we used to mix oil and petrol. I guess I don't need to do it in my 4 stroke ninja.
2. How ofter do I need to lubricate/check the chain?
3. How ofter should I service it? It has only 2500 on the odometer and the last I know is that it was serviced at 1000k.

Would be awesome if someone can help.

Where did you buy it? These are all simple things that should have been explained to you when you purchased your bike.

You don't need to mix oil/petrol in a four stroke.
I lube my chain every 500km/two tanks or before a large ride.
Change oil/filter every 5000km (I do, whether or not you do is up to you)
