Im looking to buy a lerners bike and i found decent one but I'm not sure which one to choose.
There are two 150cc bike, same brand, same year but odometer reading is different.
One bike reads 9,500km, $2300. Another bike reads 43,000km, $1300.
Im thinking about the first one cuz of low km.
Which bike is the better one to choose.

I personally only ever buy brand new or a low mileage bike. It will be easier to sell once you move up to a bigger bike.

With small capacity engines they work bloody hard, so a lowmilage one is usualy the better bet. However, sometimes a higher milage can be the better prospect, IF you know the service histories of both and the riding style of the owners.....
otherwise? go by 'gut feel' when you look at them, scratches, ground pegs, worn tires and pads etc.

Simply because of the LAMS list being intrduced next year I'd take my chances with the $1300 bike, less money to loose when you can't sell it because everybody is buying SV650's to ride on their learners license.
Also at $1300 it would be a cheap bike to convert and use as a bucket racer if that takes your fancy.

Depends what bike it is, if it's a 2 stroke of that high mileage you won't have any rebores left or next to none anyway
