I managed to get a pair of black alloy rims off a wrecked newer Yamaha Scorpio and thought it'd look nicer in white. I've done a quick photoshop of how it might look on a blue Scorpio in black and in white.
What's your vote? Go for White or stay black?

Hard to say cos that is a pretty shit photo angle, has it got fisheye lens or something? White rims are nearly impossible to keep clean, and is uncommon for them to suit the rest of the bike, as they would not in your case.
I'm really happy with my recent rim color change, from silver to copper, and got the engine side covers done in copper too. I think sort your tank out first, decide on the primary color, then work out the rest from there.

Sorry for the poor quality, it was the only photo I could find off the net of a blue Scorpio with the alloy rims. I haven't got the rims on mine yet because I am deciding if I should stay black or go for white.
Yeah, I find the stickers on the bike awful and would love to get rid of them...

I think the black looks better to be honest.
and unless you intend to clean it every second day, the white wheels will just end up black anyway.

As above. White is fucking awful for needing cleaning.

White WHILE THEY ARE CLEAN.
Also unless you are going to spend good money to have them painted properly don't bother, a cheap paint job is going to chip and look shithouse far to quickly.
IMO everytime you want to spend coin on the little scorpio, take the money out of your wallet and put it in a big jar marked "REAL TOYS".
Don't forget that next year the LAMS lists will come into force and 250's will be worth sfa let alone 125's.
