Well just to keep it in the consciousness there is a combined Kart & bucket day on the 18th.

Not for points, but a good old time to try some new bike tuning etc & just have a laugh racing.

I might mount the camera backwards to see how they work out.

Bring your bike and swap it for a kart for one race if you can find a karter that can ride and a karter that trusts us meat heads with their gear.

I was thinking of giving this one a miss because of last week, but at that price and the races that are lined up I am keen as. It will be a wet race meeting (almost no doubt looking at the forecast) but it will still be a blast. Gotta make sure we get the numbers for this, can't complain for $15 sign on and free BBQ. Time to put the wets on I think!!

that is cheap, I'm starting to get tempted. with the weather the way it is its just as likely to be wet then fine an hour later & scorching hot the hour after that. Wonder if I'll have my new piston in time?"

I suspect I will still be nursing a hangover that day so I shall not be present. Have a fab day everyone!

Weather has changed for the best. It looks like it's going to be a sunny day! Dry track racing for $15.... you'd have to be mad to not show up!

Woop woop just got a GoPro for my 22nd bday, definitely showing up now to use it. Rich, you should show up with your camera too. Get some really decent footage of close racing

Well it looked like a good enough day. Numbers a bit down which was to be expected having had a stella bike day the week before. I got lazy getting out of bed & was kinda figuring I'd have no one to play with on the 50 except Steve (& he didn't show up). But Hamish & that other chap with the Lonchin swapped bikes so perhaps & could have had a stouch up after all. Never mind I got some other things done & visited the track to have a looksee.

Hmm, Taumarunui next - 7/8 jan.

Only 9 bikes yesterday...weren't too many kart classes either....as soon as we'd finished a race, talked some shit it was time to go back out again & it wasn't wet at ALL. On track way more than a normal day and the feed was worth it on it's own. Heaps of bike swapping going on, even had a ride on Hamish's bike and lets just say it handles slightly different to the mini-motard

it all-in-all a great day. Happy & safe Xmas
