I hate to see him miss an opportunity... Have you contacted him directly via his face book page or something?

hi,lee here. im definately keen on doing the full national series. it all depends on getting the funding and as its only a few weeks till the first round things are looking sketchy...we only need to come up with tyre money and race entry fees for the first 3 rounds here in the south...if there is anyone who wants to help and get the best coverage we can give...email me at... munrolee@rocketmail.com
we will be doing the north island rounds as well but have a little more time before they start.
i have media interviews with tv and magazines lined up to help promote our team...
please get in touch.
thanks

Hi,
I sponsored Lee to get to the 2011 Burt Munro Challenge (Grazer Safaris - the stag on the main fairing) and am delighted with the results.
He delivered very exciting racing to watch, great results and was very accommodating for me and my guests in the pits during both days. He is a very passionate and personable guy who went out of his way to talk to all the fans and interested people who came over to his setup in the pits and I was fortunate to hear him talking very positively about all the sponsors when he was interviewed by a motor sports TV host (syndicated show in NZ/Aus/UK) and also the Southland Times reporter:

Pity the newspaper reporters have a policy of removing sponsors names from interviews and quotes!
We're 100% behind him and would b delighted to see others coming on board too!!!
Cheers
Graham

Good luck finding sponsors mate, sounds like your on the right track!
Something to think about on the tyre situation is buying second hand tyres? Just about everyone will be putting on fresh rubber for each race so that means you can buy tyres for $200 per set that have only done 15 laps.
It might put you on the back foot slightly but just remember Stroudy could still turn out lap record times on those tyres for atleast another 20 laps. Specially pirellis
