A collection of stamps charting the history of classic British motorbikes is being introduced by Royal Mail. Six motorcycles, ranging from a 1914 Royal Enfield to the 1991 Norton F.1 have been carefully illustrated by celebrated British artist Michael English.

Will there be a little sachet of oil on the back, so when you press the stamp onto the envelope it stains everything in a 6 foot radius with a thick black treacley hydrocarbon byproduct that used to be a lubricant, and is impossible to remove?

Seriously, I'll be requesting that Mooch find me a first day cover if he can. What a pleasant idea.
