Hey everyone, finally got a kiwi biker account, have always used this forum to find out about events but have never posted.
I ride an SV1000S and the reason I'm here is because summer seems to be finally kicking in and as the weather is getting better and the days are getting longer I've been going for regular rides through Whitford and have noticed many more bikes getting out there, so I was wondering if all of you who are getting out there are keen for going on regular weekday/weekend group rides through Whitford, Kawakawa Bay etc....?
If there are enough people interested we can try organize something for this coming weekend or during the week and meet up at the Chapel Road BP Station, so please leave a post if you're keen so we can get something organized for the summer.
All bikes are welcome and feel free to add any suggestions or ideas.

If we get enough people interested we can split up into different groups depending on rider experience and CC rating.

Well I'd be interested. I always ride out to Whitford/Clevedon/Brookby way. Seem to end up in Kaiaua/Miranda more often than not but anyhoo...

I could be a starter too depending on the day/time and other responsibilities that I'm reminded about from time to time :baby:

Are you guys keen to get the first group ride started tomorrow (Saturday 10th Dec)?
I've been checking met service and it's meant to be raining Sunday onwards for the whole week, so I will be going for a ride tomorrow, all those who want to come along are welcome to just show up and we will decide on a route through Whitford from there. Ride will probably be around 2 - 3 hours long (including stops etc.), but you are free to turn back any time if you need to.
When: Saturday 10th December.
Where: Meet at the Chapel Road BP Station.
Time: Be there at 11:00am, and we will depart by 11:30am and head for Whitford.
I will be there as long as the weather is all good and it's not raining. Make sure to check back on here for updates before the ride.
Hope to see a few of you out there, everyone is welcome to come along as long as you at least have a restricted license (can legally ride at 80 - 100km/h).
So! If you are keen, let me know!
NOTE: Anyone attending this ride does so at their own risk. I take no responsibility for others actions.

What time are you heading out? I could meet up earlier, I only put 11 thinking it might make it easier for people to make it.
