Top 3 Superbikes at HD:

Bugden
Choppa
Stroud

I reckon Bugen will be fired up from all the racing he has been doing lately but Choppa will give him a run for his money.

yep but I had to start somewhere.
Bugden qualified fastest last year with Shirriffs 1 thousandth of a second 'slower' and Bugdens done a lot of riding in the last few weeks including a third of an eight hour on the fast phillip island last weekend...
Had to pump up Shirriffs a bit , he owes me money.

He owes me, oh, nothing much but really needs to get the front sticker on his bike over the finish line before anyone else...

He's fairly pleased with his preparation so far. Had a good result in Taupo and some fun since so is in a good head-space. His paint scheme deserves a podium on it's own!

Craig has got the big GSXR well and truly sorted now, (and it looks a farkin' treat....as long as he keeps that helmet on) so I can't split him, Robbie and Andrew. But I can see Choppa and Nick part of a 5 bike freight train and any one of them could take wins depending on who balks who and when. Shame Dan Stauffer isn't doing HD.

If it's the whole series we're talking about, it'll be tight between Choppa and Cole.

But the rounds that he's doing, I think will belong to Craig.

Andrew Stroud for the Series. He may not be at his strongest at round 1 but Manfeild he will be strong and none of the riders doing the series have beaten Andrew at Wanganui

I was checking out the Hampton Downs website yesterday and they said it was Craig, unless it's not been updated? His lap was 1.07 something, I'll recheck.

Theoretically Cole should be a weapon with a season fighting a pig of bike gone and lessons learnt and now a good handling one under him for the Tri Series.
But, did I hear he has or recently had a broken collarbone? which is why i didn't have him in my top three

Not a lot I could do about this one though.
