Nice photos Gordon. One of them looks like one of the Hickson brothers from Matamata on his diesel bike! I'm pretty sure he did the Grand Challenge 1000 miles/24 hour ride on that one year :Punk:

Yes Brian was there.
He also did the southern cross when it was held over 6 days now it is over 5 days he cant make the distance.

Did you cruise down fenton st Rotorua on sunday?
I was in a cafe having breakfest and saw a bike like yours go by.
It was a late breaky.

Would have been around 11:30 having just left the "Highly Devious Cafe"
Recommend it, reasonable prices. They have a huge room for the bog, plenty of space to remove layers of riding gear.
