I'm selling my MV Agusta brutale so if any of you are interested you can email/PM me and we can discuss it.

In short it's a 2004 MV Agusta Brutale 750cc with just under 22,000k on the clock. I'm the only owner and the bike was new in Feb 2004. All the scheduled services have been done by authorised MV agents.

The rego and WoF expire in Feb 2006.

It's worked perfectly and I've had no trouble what so ever with it. Rear tyre has about 3,000k on it and the front is about to be replaced now.

New chain and if required new sprockets will be done before the sale.

It has the ventura pack rack on it and I'll throw in my 45L bag plus the pillion grab bar to go with it.

I fitted an aftermarket fuel chip to improve fuel economy, this added about 10% more range without harming the power delivery (I had it dyno'ed before and after).

I'm looking for $17,500 which is an absolute bargin when I think what I paid for it new.

Have a look at my profile to see the bike.

What?!?!

You can't do that!
(Not unless you're buying something even more cool!)

$17,500!!! Ouch! That's like 50% depreciation in 18 months!!

Not quite 50% but not that far from it. Problem is that Motorad have a mint one for $21,500 and Motomart are selling 2 new ones for $22,000 so while I'd like more I need to be realistic. I've been hit by the MV importer changing (which is where the cheap Motorad one came from) and with Motomart loosing their MV dealership they have a couple of Brutales to flog off.

But if someone offers me $25k for it I'll take it !!

That still doesn't aid my rampant curiosity...

I have 2 bikes I'd like to buy, both are available now (one is quite rare) but I doubt I'll do anything until later this year, most likely next year.

I'd like to do the Rusty Nuts Icon tiki tour so I might have to get something before then.

Got the note on this. Most interesting. I'd like to have a wee chat sometime over a brew and a decent road atlas...

Tamborini?

Ha, I re-read my post above. Actually both are rare just one is a lot rarer than the other one. Don't ask me what it is coz I'm hoping it will stay undiscovered until I can grab it.

Tamborini?

Two came into NZ, both already sold for $85k each.

If I could of I would of. Alan Cathcart rated it as one of the best bikes he's ever ridden.
