Gives a true appreciation of how little I lean my bike over.

I remember when angles of 45 were considered crazy, anything more, and you were off... tyres have come along a bit haven't they?

Despite the moaning all season of how much faster the Honda was out of corners, it certainly didn't look that way in that clip. Yes I know the track is very short and not ideally suited to the Hondas...but still...:baby:

Not just the max lean angle, but when the speed graphic pops up, look how much lean angle he still has when he hits full throttle on the corner exit :not:

Full throttle at his hand, bet the ECU isn't releasing anywhere near 200 hp to the back wheel.
That telemetry is bullshit on a bike with traction control, and anti wheelie control!
The guy is still a legend, I'm just saying you are being misled.

Also, it's the telemetry from Pedrossa's bike, not Lorenzo's so it's definitely misleading. But Pedrossa is still using some pretty incredible lean angles though.
Seems kinda like riding a Harley - pick a line and stick to it cos it's the only one there is.
I do like the way Lorenzo is constantly changing lean angle. He rides off the edge of the tyre so stands it up a little, then eases it back down until he's nearly off the edge again. Amazing.

Full throttle does not necessarily equal full power! Besides, you can still see that visually from the way he accelerates out of the corner when he gets on the gas, number or no numbers.
I'm not saying that the electronic aids are completely dormant either, but if you think you can simply whack open the throttle and the electronics will merrily keep it sunny side up, then I think you're misled!
