Hi

I need a set of leathers for a 5'9" rider (my brother) who is coming out to try out buckets at the practice day this Saturday.
Does anyone that is coming have a spare set or a set that I could pick up prior and drop back to you afterwards?

Also what time do I turn up and what is the structure of the day roughly?

Cheers
Max

I have my old set here, that may fit him, I am about 1.70m and on the larger side:whistle:, warning they are held together with a little bit of duct tape.

You would need to swing round and pick them up as I wont be at the track this weekend.

If you are not at the track you could loan your space ranger ones!
Leader Leathers can do repairs to leathers in Wellington but that is only a couier ticket away from anywhere.

There is (was?) a place in K Road that repairs leathers. In the middle of the shopping area of K Road where the ped crossing is, north side, there is an Arcade, down the first flight of steps right hand side is a little shop, repairs anything leather, she does a good job too.

Kerri at MSW http://www.msw.co.nz/index2.html

She has done a lot of work on my leathers, took them somewhere else once because they were cheaper. I will now only take them to Kerri.

St Kevins Arcade, walk in off K Rd, go straight ahead, go down one flight of stairs, turn right. You will be looking towards a large old bank vault sort of door, that's MSW. As stated, Kerry is very good and I think for the job she does she's very reasonable.

And why on earth not :)

We actually discussed this yesterday and turns out she is/was happy for me to race if that is what I want to do (sounds like a trap to me). However given that we have spent the last 24 hours back up at the hospital, feeding bubs every hour, I am not sure that the leave pass is available for redemption.

Besides I might have to consider changing the oil in the bike if I do.

Just googled the interweb and the forums recon that the RGV is 50mm so they should fit if you want them.

I also will not be able to make it (taking kids camping but Graham and the NSR145...(Green machine 86).. will be there I hope. This is the GL145 which lived in my garage for a few months as I made it go faster, dam good fun spending other peoples money. I just hope it hangs togeather...!

I will be interested to find out how it goes... pulled like a 13yr old until it ran out of revs on the road... now no one is allowed to mess with the paint!!!

With your record of spending a lot of money on bikes to make them slower someone let you at their bike?
