Just watched some poor bugger get done by the mufti traffic copper across the road from my shop...probably in excess of the posted speed limit on the downhill - happens all the time here.
I did note however, that the copper left his car parked in the bus stop whilst he wrote the ticket - a process that took several minutes. I was tempted to go over there and suggest that he was setting a bad example by leaving his car where it was and was indeed in breach of the rules himself...but I thought better of that idea. No sense in drawing unwanted attention to oneself now is there...
A motorbike postie dropped a letter in to me whilst this was all happening. I told him I thought the cop was after him. His reply?
"Hell no mate - I'm way too fast for coppers!"
Good on him.

Was this before, or after, you skimmed some cash from the till to hide it from the IRD?

Wine shop...
Start distilling your own spirit then sell it. It will cost you about $3 a litre to make vodka.

It's a good hobby ay. You should try my recipe for a 25L spirit wash:
5kg sugar
1 - 1.5 cups tomato paste
2 tsp citric acid
6 tbsp baking yeast
It turns out a lot better than those turbo yeast recipes from the brew shops.

Maybe a good thing you didn't ... in the "Execution of his duties" ... he IS allowed to park there. For the sake of expediency ... or just the safest place to park at the time.
Had you questioned him as he was dealing with his "client" .... he would no doubt inform you of this ...
And ... HE may have suggested a few things too ... :msn-wink:

Perzackerly why I said nuffink.
I was hoping a bus would come along and, since it was a mufti, stop behind it and sit on the horn. But copper had gone before the bus arrived. Sigh. No fun there.
