I think it's awesome that you and others put the effort into this series.
I hope the numbers are there to justify B grade points scored for the series. I was put off after the first year when B grade was rolled up and lost in the one grade.

Easy solution on the B grades points Nige, step up to the A grade :)

Not far off it at the moment!

If he's close he'll improve his riding more by running at the back of A than at the front of B.
Nige, coming up on the 7th to give me a hurry up?

I am thinking about it.
Still a bit to Learn in B grade, plenty of people in front of me still.

I'm constantly amazed at how fast B-grade has become. It's way far out freaky man.

If we could work a system that doesn't get mega confusing we would. If there are enough riders we could have a B grade per meeting challange or similar. If there is only 14 bikes in total at a meeting, say, you would end up in the A grade anyway unless you are a hazard to others.
It's the jumping up and down the classes each meeting that creates points scoring issues. Thanks for the input all the same, we will see what we can do.

I know, 2 years ago I was coming second only to Caleb, who is now racing really well in A grade. Now I am lapping 4 seconds a lap quicker and 5th or 6th place is not uncommon. Bloody awesome fun.

I hear ya, point scoring is no easy task. As I discovered after trying a few times :o

Any objections to running B grade when numbers allow and all in when not. Means people may end up with both A and B grade points but that shouldn't be to big a deal, and if a putative B grader starts scoring too many A grade points we can call them a sandbager and not let them step back down.

Good idea that.

And it isn't morally reprehensible riding one after consuming copious amounts of alcohol. Definitely stupid though.

I'll have to look at it tomorrow (when I'm sober) and look. It's the track traced & scaled down, so if it looks like a shark, it's a f'ing shark.
As I didn't want to go anywhere near work this week (funnily enough), and Henk had to go in, we'll have a few regular 80gsm A3 sheets with us, which feel free to steal, I'll try to remember to print some off on A3 card when I'm back at work for Tokoroa, and but if anyone wants a copy flick me your address and I'll shove some in the post.
Oh, this was why I was after pix from you horrible lot, but got a pressie for Hels and Malc bwahahaha

As far as I know there will be day licenses available, best bet is to PM Steve (NSR143) and t hen let me know, ive been asked often enough that I should know. Pretty sure there were last year, 100% there were at Tokoroa.

Bugger ! Just seen the Te Puk and Auckland clash 11 March ...I am keen on Te Puk but Will is in the running for a podium in the Auckland champs ..well was
Pumba
15th January 2012, 09:02
Yea rick noticed that myself. Will probably leave it closer to the time to decide which one to go to, but I am leaning toward Te Puke at the moment.
Then again I have nothing to lose in the AMCC champs
Henk
15th January 2012, 09:40
We'll be going to Te puke so that's another F5 out of Auckland that month.
Mind you my AMCC and NI chances have been scupered through misfortune (my own stupidity).
Having said that having seen the video that got posted of the Te Puke track we were heading south anyway.

And at least one bottle of port. In fact we should deny entry to those that don't..... :)

We'll only be bringing one bottle of port, as think it only fair that some of the others who don't bring any, should drag some along. We're happy to do a run to Mazurans for anyone keen, as it's only about 10 minutes away from home.
We missed GrantNZ's order we figured last night, so owe him a bottle next time (apologies to Mrs Grant, as it was meant for your anniversary weekend, but you'll have to come put up with us again lol).
Thinking about Will being in the run for a trophy at Mt Welly, I'll buy him a trophy for something, and that can shut him the heck up. Hmm, smartarse springs to mind.
Oh, I was meaning to say, oh no, if you lot are going, I couldn't possibly. I think I'll go ride at Mt Wellington.
