Hoping to get some sensible advice here. Im contemplating buying some tyre warmers and am wondering if anyone here has some experience with the warmers sold by "Tyrewarmers.co.nz". I dont want/cant afford the likes of Chickenhawke but am after a reasonable pair for trackdays and the like. I see plenty of makes advertised on local and overseas websites but have not been able to find any serious reviews about them.

I have a set from Motomail.
They are very good.
Elastic sides, rather than drawstring.
And I now if I have any problems Motomail will take care of it.
The set I bought are set at standard temp at the factory.
You can pay more for a set where you can set and alter the temperature.
Cheers

As far as I know tyrewarmers.co.nz has recently been bought by racesuplies.co.nz. I am using a set of the Capit brand Tyre warmers from race supplies which are a premium level tyre warmer and am very happy with them and would recommend them. I've used a few different brands of varying quality over the years and can suggest firmly that with a product such as tyre warmers, buy the best, as its very frustrating if they fail on you!

I consulted here before buying my "tyrewarmers.co.nz" and bought some. They go well. I dont like the drawstrings and would prefer elastic but bang for $...these are fine. I think they are made in the UK. A friend just got some from there and they are identical. Love CAPITs or Chickenhalks but $$$!

The Tyrewarmers.co.nz brand warmers are indeed made by hand in the UK.
They are a fine tyrewarmer for the price. They have the features that most riders need in a tyrewarmer; lots of element, insulation and good tyre coverage. Set temperature because most riders don't need to change temperature.
Full 12 month manufacturing warranty and service back up.
The CapIt warmers are a step or two above those warmers, hand made in Italy with different technology and 3 year warranty.
This is reflected in the higher price.
Tyrewarmers.co.nz business was recently purchased by the RaceSupplies team and will continue to operate selling the tyrewarmers.co.nz brand along with CapIt.

I've got two sets of Tyrewarmers.co.nz - both have been great, consistent heating and reliable - no complaints. Also have a set of Bandits (Colts) from Aussie, and the Tyrewarmers.co.nz are just as good.
Who ever is selling them, the Tyrewarmers.co.nz are good value for money in my opinion.
