This is just a heads up for anyone looking for a 250cc adventure bike late February. It is an absolutely brilliant bike and has served me well touring over 40,000 km of the South Island, it is the bike used to do the articles for www.adventureguide.co.nz

I have just spent over $3000 bringing the bike up to A1 standard including gearbox gears and bearings, main bearings, new engine seals throughout, Moose Racing clutch, wheel bearings seals and spacers, front and rear brake pads, new E09’s front and rear, grips, etc etc
My father is using this bike for the DB1K then we are continuing on for a one-month tour of the South Island. A majority of this time will be spent camped up fishing etc so I'm estimating it will only be doing around 4000 km before our return to Christchurch late February. The bike will then be up for sale offering the new owner a solid and reliable bike ready to jump on and ride without having to worry about a thing for a very long time.
Bike comes with alloy panniers and racks, top Ventura rack and Ventura top bag. Also has recent battery change and front forks resealed and serviced by DAS
I'll be sad to see her go as it is a simply fantastic bike and has taken me on a number of great South Island trips, but, a new DRZ400 means it is surplus to requirement
Shoot me a PM if you are interested
