"A Pakistani man has been charged after he rang police communications and told them he "loves the New Zealand police".
The police were obviously not feeling the love and charged him with using a telecommunications device to knowingly give a fictitious message.
Mohammad Ali Mayat Baloch appeared in the North Shore District Court last week.
It is not known if police thought his declaration of love was "fictitious" or they just objected to him using the phone in that manner.
He is due to reappear on January 13."
How can they prove it's 'fictitious'?
Also does that mean everytime I lie on the phone I'm breaking the law?
