Sigh - thats it - the work years stuffed, the lawns are mowed, the windows are cleaned and tomorrows dinner is pretty well made..... The presents are wrapped, the tree can be seen from outer space, is levitating due to an excessive amount of gifts underneath including a killer one for Vickster and there is just one bicycle to be assembled this evening (dammit). The first bottle of bubbly just went 'pop'....... and I'm settling into the glow.

The 2 grandsons that live with us are pretty well worn out from a very sunny day in paradise and the tuis are flippin about the garden. Of course its not all good as the rescue chopper just blew overhead but today it aint us so thats ok ish. Lets hope its a false alarm.

Tomorrow we have 3 daughters, 2 partners, 3 grandsons, several dogs, 1 cat and a couple who have just moved here and have no family about the place arriving for lunch - as always it will be bloody perfect....

I freely admit I'm blessed - above all I'm blessed to be content with what I have and a woman who loves me (god knows why) so I'm as happy as a clam!

My one hope is that you all find some kind of fun joy tomorrow because not matter what your religious bent it IS a special day!

Peace to all...

There are some times I wish I could un-read what I have read on KB and remove the mental picture. Have a Merry Christmas

Wot 'e sed!

Notice your mates up north here were having a feast on speeding drivers along SH1 between Aucks and Hamihole (where we spent Christmas eve with my sis).

Maybe one year I will dress up in a santas elf costume, jump on the bike, and hand out pressies to all you hard working keeping-our-roads-saferer people as you sit roasting in your cars watching us head off to festive destinations.
