Hey guys,
Does my NSR sound OK to you? I think it sounds off but maybe I'm just being paranoid:

Trying to operate the throttle left handed with the idle adjustment screw not in the carb and film with my right hand was a pain in the arse so it's a bit weird lol

Pretty hard to tell with sound quality which is inevitable with built in video camera type microphones, but the shitty speakers in my PC prob don't help either...

Yeah I was afraid that all you'd get would be badly recorded generic two stroke noise lol.

bit of a unsetled gurgle on wind up... other wise sounds like a stroker to me, its more about how it feels when ya ride it.

Shit that's right it's a honda V so it does have gear driven cams. My bad.

One of the plugs is a bit fouled (not both). Change em both for iridiums as I found you can burn the crap off them when you give it the beans (aka good straight).
Also sounded a bit gurgly down low (as mentioned before). Try that motul 2 smoke oil. The good stuff. You will probably find it does it a wonder of good to the big end bearing.

The lower cylinder keeps fouling plugs when I don't ride it fast enough :) I'm used to four stroke singles so having to get used to keeping the revs up and not engine braking. It's got an Iridium in the cylinder that doesn't foul, and *had* one in the cylinder that fouled occasionally but I took it out to see if it was the plug that was the problem and now it's running the standard BR9ECM. I might swap back to the Iridium and see how it is eh.

It really doesn't take much riding gently before it feels gummed up.

Also I'm running Valvoline 2 stroke oil. As soon as it switched over it started running worse. Gonna get some quality stuff now. Maybe what ever Castrol TTS is now called?
