Just wanted to say I have found myself finally at one with my bike.... I ride a 110cc everyday as a postie... loads of fun BUT... as taken my confidence away from the 650... so these last few days 1000km, and 11 hrs of riding over a few days have helped boost my confidence, and ability on the road. Time for some time on the track, and learn my bikes true capabilities... old chicken must retrain her brain. :woohoo:

Ah... if the pushbike postie is away, then I do that bit of her run, we kinda split it up between 3 of us... and btw now I know where you live, well at least the street! ;)

Good to see this post Kim, pleased to see that you've become the sort of rider the rest of us can look up to.Go for a track day or two, but always remember you are on a track, theoretically there's nothing coming the other way.
Maha, I too have memories of riding with this young lady when she hadn't done a lot of anything on a bike, but even then there was this quiet resolve to master her machine and to ride well.
On Ya Tinks, enjoy the summer, and reply to your bleed'n Pm's once in a while aye.

Hey! good one Kim. I tried replying in this thread while crossing the Cook Strait on the Kaitaki but the connection was so slow I ended up giving up.
We must be long over due to do a ride slightly further afield now!
