I dont care for xmas, Im a grinch really. However the bike was in need of some loving, so I spent some coin on it for christmas.
So that got me wondering, did any of you treat your bike to a xmas pressy, or did you get anything bike related???

Yup, treated one bike to a Ventura pack rack and a bag to go on it.
A GPS and a Ventura bag for the other bike (already has a luggage rack and saddle bags). Heading South in Feb, so thought it was a good idea :woohoo:
Also a Jacket and new Shoei Helmet in the Christmas goodies this year :Punk:

New oil and filter plus a wash and polish today.
New Rev'it jacket for me in the new year (with hi viz yellow panels because I'd rather do that than wear the bib which I reckon will be compulsary soon)

Didn't plan it this way, but mileage was close to service interval before Christmas, so I sped it up a bit and it had a service right on the last days before Christmas.
It should be grateful. BMW pads all round I now find out are ridiculously expensive (about $600 for 3 disks). Won't be buying those pads again, plus it was a big service, so tallied up just under $2k :crybaby:

I hear ya, Christmas sucks dead dogs bollocks. I've 38 days off and making the most of the time landscaping outside. But my baby had:
Filter(s) changed
Oil changed
New front fork dust seals
New chain and sprockets
Flushed and replaced radiator fluids
Replaced front and rear pads
New front tyre
and a good clean

Santa came early for my bike, tyres, headers, powdercoating, and filter and oil all done late november. However the christmas ride pulled up some jetting (I think issues) so she may get some new pilot jets in the new year.

$700 spent reassembling my little 250. $200 of that was new float valves and $75 was new air ducts between the airbox and carbs.

I got EBC ones for a 1/3 that price. Might be different on the GS but they seem to work just as well if not better for me.

Oh don't worry. I just about hit the floor when I saw the prices. If the shop won't provide something like Ferodo, I'll get them elsewhere. Shouldn't cost more than $150 for an entire set.
