Plan is to ride the Gentle Annie mid next week when the rain is supposed to have fucked off as well. I'll stop over in Napier/Hastings for one night. Not sure if I will go clockwise or anticlockwise yet...

After that, who knows.

Well, sitting here in 26 degree heat with a JD&Coke and a bowl of cashew nuts just chillaxing.

normajeane is working A 12-hour night-shift so I have the place to myself...woo-hoo, no having to put up with drunken young yobbos and belligerent slack-jawed mouth-breathing lackwits.

And no being accosted by aged snaggle-toothed crones with poorly dyed hair who normally lurch up, take a long drag on their smoke and say in a voice like Selma from the Simpsons "Cor, I like a man in uniform, c'mon love, give us a kiss for new year eh!"
