crashe

Someone got stopped by the police tonight heading west......
Mind you this rider had past me earlier as he rode his bike right up next to the barrier.
I came on at Newton on ramp.... and when he went past he was fair flying...
I was in between the middle and outside lane, when this rider flew past up against the barier.
He was in full one piece leather gear.. had blue and white leathers...
So he must have done something else wrong for the police to stop him...
Other riders were out there as well and they weren't stopped.

He must have been real unlucky to get pulled at that time of night on that stretch if he was up against the barrier,he must have got blue lighted and pulled over voulantarilly, should have been easy to lose a holden in that mess!!
perhaps the cops wanted to know where he got his flashy leathers from Ha Ha

Well a word of advice from the wise, if you do get pulled over the barrier make sure your backs against it ha ha, specialy if the cop's called damian and smells nice ....

I saw a red sports bike on side of the southern m/way heading south, car behind it (scrapes down the side) and a truck behind the car. Three or four ppl having a discussion bout something.......it was 5.15pm (strange) and was between Otahu & East Tamaki off ramp.....Not sure what make of bike, but was definitely shiny and new looking and bright red and mmmmmmmmmmmm, bike looked AOK (was upright and on it's stand)
Hope no one here was involved.

It was an a guy in his mid 30's on a blue/white 96 onwards GSXR1100, yea he wasn't happy, the missus was running along there and i was keeping her company on my pushbike, (i dont do running) so i pulled a wheelie past him and gave him a wave in the process.
Didn't recognise him as anyone i've seen/meet off KB.

F/FYeah too far north into no-mans land for you eh Dave! :nono:

Don't you mean northern North Island society? And there wasatime Zed that you may have said that about me. Maybe even still will. Doesn't make it any less true about me though.:devil2:

Sorry I have no idea.... as he past by on the other side of the cars, from where I was. Plus he was going fast. That's a pity, without that info we'll probably not identify the 'accused'!
In this scenario crashe, sounds like the cop did a good job anyway? Did you think he was riding quite dangerously and deserved it?
Don't you mean northern North Island society?I was referring to Wellington as well as Ak...get the joke now?
And I hope you don't aspire to follow in WT's footsteps - there can be only one! [script from "The Highlander"]

I got the joke, and tried to expand on it a bit. (failed obviously)
Nah no plans to follow in his riding footsteps. I may be crazy but he is on a level far beyond anything I am willing to go to.

Phew thank goodness it wasn't a KBer...
Nah no plans to follow in his riding footsteps. I may be crazy but he is on a level far beyond anything I am willing to go to.That's good. But truth be known, I think that WT is just as intensly serious as the next biker who likes to ride fast and pull stunts, I've ridden with him only once and he was quite contained...then again, he was only riding a gixxer600 at the time. I reckon many peeps on KB have a false impression about Jimmy, and he likes it that way! :devil2: Oops didn't mean to get so serious? :pinch:
