I have a 2001 800 intruder volusia - luckily it already came with a hypercharger installed, so I havent had to worry about rejetting and so forth.

Initial impressions are that I find acceleration alot smoother, I appear to be using less throttle on the highway and the whole sound of the bike has changed. I suspect this is more due to the "sucking" sound that I know get when I give it a handful. You cant really hear any specific sound, but the bike sounds throatier, and is more responsive at all levels.
Not only does it improve performance and sound (anecdotally of course), but it looks good, and as usual with Kuryakyn products they seem to be very well made and solid (I also have a Kuryakyn cigarette lighter mount on the handle bars), and easy to install.
