CHCH Can you help please?

I wonder if any CHCH members can help me out. I have just had another xray on my poxy ankle and it is STILL broken after 4 months. I am in a moon boot and was really looking forward to RIDING MY BIKE, but as important, getting into the surf at the beach when we are on holiday.

I was given the name of a company to buy a vacuum sealed over boot to cover the leg so I can get in the water.

However, it appears that although the webiste is all go, none of the numbers work and I dont want to pay money to a company tht no longer exists. Would someone be good enough to go and see if it is infact still operating for me please?

I spent all Christmas with a crisis management team helping out after the Dec 23rd Quake and made some decent contacts

I've had a word and they have checked out the details you supplied. Looks like there is some kind of communications error there, cant nail it down but it could be EQ related.

CHCH had another one roll through today which has cocked things up even more. On that basis it may be worth looking elsewhere.

Am no longer holding my breath. Bit blue tonight, I honestly thought 4 months would have been enough. All I want to do now is have a friggen swim this summer. Have abandoned all hope of riding Millie for the forseeable future.

Luckily I am still firmly of the opinion that a moon boot far out weighs a plaster and crutches. I did 8 weeks of that crap. I can at least walk so life is all good :sunny:

Just a quick update for you. They are no longer franchised to seel xerosox, and dont know who the current suppliers are.

So, back to CHCH, anyone heard of/seen this crowd? Their postal address is in Papanui, not that that will be of any use, but you never know.

I've never heard of them and a hunt around around the net has brought forth no physical street address for them, just the PO Box, so I can't do a drive by for you to see if they still exist. Papanui isn't too far away, so if you do happen to find some more info, just yell out. It could be they've just shut down for a holiday maybe?
