What's SH1 like between Chch & Picton?

Any problems eg Roadworks on the main Road from Chch to Blenheimn ?

Taking the Bike through to Picton tomorrow morning - Sunday , Cheers

Road good all the way through to Picton, just watch out for the Plod and speed camera's

Guess you went looking on Google maps and its giving you odd directions, aa roadwatch (http://maps.aa.co.nz/traffic/roadwatch) is your best bet.
