my tzr was in bits 89 tzr 250 3ma theres no space under hte seat for the box to go anybody have a clue as to where it goes can someone maybe put a pic or explain really well help would b appreciated... :whistle:

It has illustrations but all is in Japanese!!! I think the battery is near the end maybe second to last page.

I hear workshop manuals for these are hard to come by.

Don't you just need to find the battery, then put the battery box around it? :sly:

Seriously, can you not work it out from the positioning of the cables, and look for some likely looking fasteners that it attaches to? If it doesn't go under the seat, then there's not many other places - somewhere behind the engine, or (like some Ducatis) under one side or other of the fairing panels. But the cable should give you a clue, because they're usually of limited length (just barely long enough).

under the farings theres a thought...but i wasnt sure where behind the fairings it could go when i was trying to figure it out as i bought the bike off a friend and he won't give me the fairings until i finish paying for the bike lol

just getting it back together now after getting that damn yellow off the frame

ive got the manual for it but it's nothing like the one you gave me the link to thats a 3xv mines a 3ma but it has alot of the parts breakdowns the same as my bike which arnt in my manual still digging about the battery box i think i just got lucky getting a manual with it...would help if mine was in english and told me everything haha

found out why it smokes like crazy ive been running it at 25:1 premix should have been using 40:1 :whistle:
