n00b to the forum so first off , Hello to all and sundry

So I'm visiting my sister in Brisbane for her 40th later this year and am planning to tag on a 2/3 week trip though NZ on a bike before coming home . Been wanting to visit your beautiful country for years and after watching one of those Henry Cole epic bike trips through North and South Island I was sold.

I'm really looking for some advice regarding hiring a bike, riding some great roads, seeing things that the tourist busses don't even know about and sampling the local fare. Of course getting to know some locals over a bitterly cold beer or good glass of red wine along the way goes without saying

No problem doing just 50kays to see something interesting or spending the whole day in the saddle enjoying the ride with very few fixed plans.

the plan is to be there in September some time and I would give my left ball to see the All Blacks play a game at home

Maybe fly into Christchurch and fly out of Auckland or vice versa, saves 2 trips on interislander ferry, and usually can do one way bike hire, enjoy the trip.

We don't hire bikes, but we can certainly do a 'buy back' deal for you.
