Given the impending weather bomb-anyone able to provide an update on the rides status? Or will that be assessed Sat night?

It's only a short ride from Cambridge to The Tron. I figure it'll go ahead anyway.

Oh yeah, I don't know Cambridge, but I know where the old church is that is the tourist centre and I know the superloo thingy..... and the massive gas stations (there are 2). Are any of these near the meeting point?

The meeting point is a little further south than the church and the servos (not far). Closer to the Shell station. Look for Victoria Square. Very hard to miss usually - there's always a million bikes.

I have packed my toy in a plastic bag inside my pannier bag. My pink Ninja bear shall be cable tied to the sissy bar to supervise as she does with the charity rides.

Managed to tweak my back yesterday, to the point of not being able to get out of bed, so can't join as planned.
Any ideas where I can drop toys off to later in the week?

It was a lot of fun. We got to Cambridge about 10ish - great ride down. About 500 plus bikes, nice smooth ride to Hamilton. Will definitely do this one again!

I hope they got lots of toys - there was a lot in the truck at the end.
I bought a badge too, even though OldSteve said to boycott the badges (in the helicopter ride thread)... I thought he was a member of Ulysses whose run this was....

Was a good time nice to see some creative soft toy machines.
I'll be back for next year.

It was cute to see the toys on the bikes for the ride, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Judging by the splatter and gore that I had all over the front of my jacket and visor, I couldn't stand the thought of a teddy bear covered in this shit being given to a sick child in hospital. I kept my toy in a bag in my pannier bag.
