Selling as I have spent way too much time and money on her, and am looking at upgrading to a larger bike.

Unfortunately it blew the head gasket recently which then got replaced, however after a week or so it blew again so i had the head surfaces planed flat ($135) and had another gasket put in.
It doesnt blow bubbles into the radiator when its running cold, but after it has been warmed up and ridden a bit it starts doing it again - I suspect it may be a faulty gasket but am no mechanic so couldnt be certain about it. So now ive decided to let it go and upgrade to something better suited to my size etc.

Have done a couple of large long trips and did well on all of them - one tour of the south island in 5 days (approx 2500kms) and Dunedin to the Coromandel Peninsula and back (3500km). Other than that I used to ride it every day out to work (17km each way) so has been well looked after as was my main transport. It is an awesome bike for a 250 and when ridden to its potential goes like a cut cat!

WoF recently ran out but it is still registered until 15/06/12.

Have done the following to it in the last year:

Carb Clean
Valve clearances
New front right brake disc and pads ($550)
New aftermarket muffler ($280)
New Headlight bulbs ($110)
New Battery ($80)
New Front tyre - Maxxis ($175)
New Rear tyre - Dunlop Sportmax a-12H ($310)
New DID Chain and Sprocket kit ($250)
New head gaskets ($80 each)
Head surfaces planed ($135)
New Oxford Hotgrips ($120)

Im sure there is other stuff that I am forgetting but thats all of the major stuff.

Have receipts for most of the work I have had done.

They tyres are in bloody good condition with heaps of tread left, the chain and sprockets have only done about 4000km so are in perfect condition and are regularly lubricated.

Always had regular services and maintained meticulously.

Please note that the green tail is not from a different bike, it is wrapped in green vinyl which can easily be removed.

The seats could do with recovering
